Using the advanced settings in the Licensed Software wizard under DTS appears un-documented. I have seen examples of pulling the Version field from the source data to automatically create a number of custom products - one for each version.
Specifically, we have a number of developers using Mozilla Firefox of varying version. Having created the rule, a Software Name has been added with the option to select Advanced in the Values Returned area. The Vendoe is Mozilla, the Product is Firefox and the Version field a the value "!Computer.Software.Add or Remove Programs.Program.Version!" selected from the browse option.
The result is for all Firefox products have a version of "!Computer.Software.Add or Remove Programs.Program.Version!"; not the expected values.
Can anyone offer a solution please?
