So I have an admin account on my domain that the password changes every 24 hours. When I installed Ivanti 2018.3 I utilized my admin credentials and now Ivanti and my Ivanti DB server keeps locking out my account. I have checked services in the Console and changed to a service account but I am still getting locked out. Any other places I need to check or look at?

I need to deploy the agent on dell wyse thin and embedded, on the agent configuration I only find the HP thin agent configuration.
I tested with the linux agent configuration on a dell wyse thin machine but the task still remains active without change!
We use a landesk 2017 Version 10.1.30.401

Driver download
Hi,
the idea of automatic download of drivers from the manufacturer is great. (Even greater if .cabs released by manufacturers would be up to date, but thats something else...)
But the function is not very well implemented I think.
If I am not mistaken, it is not possible to limit the download to that packages necessary for used OS - all versions are downloaded even XP if available.
Ok, I could live with that.
But why are old versions downloaded? And why arent even those deleted, which would not be downloaded any more?
Is there any file or table where data about the downloaded drivers are stored from where you could build a cleaning job?

Easy way to maintain multiple patch branches?
I am currently on 2017.3 SU 5 and I have been asked to look into creating separate patch branches for different systems based upon function. As far as I can tell, the only way to do this is to manually release patches to groups set up as such, and forego using autofix. Am I correct in this thinking?

using DFS namespace as source
Hi all, not sure if this a redundant approach, but we are having serious network slowness when deploying our images. I was wondering as a possible solution if we can use DFS(R) in tandem with the preferred servers. My thinking is that we create a DFS(R) namespace (combining all the preferred servers in the replication group), then pointing the source to the namespace in the preferred server configuration. One other thing to consider is SMB signing. Anyone addressed this as part of their performance tuning for their Ivanti network? Thanks for any and all responses.

AutoCad 2019 Package Deployment - 16439 (package installation timeout period has expired)
I've created a distribution package for AutoCAD 2019 that successfully installs on a target computer, however, on Management Console the task always displays an error 16439 (package installation timeout period has expired). I've tried extending the package timeout period from 2 hours to 4 hours but it didn't result in a different outcome.

new core transition
We decided to build a fresh server for 2018.3.
With that, I had heard/seen a presentation at a recent roundup that went something along the lines of getting the new core completely built up and tested and all that, and then when ready change the DNS entry of the old core to the IP of the new core and the devices should start showing up in the new core console where you can then start deploying the new agent, etc.
Is this the case? I changed the hosts file on a test device running 2017.3 and ran inventory scan and security scan. I haven't seen the device show up in my new core, so I wanted to make sure this was even a real process.

Remove leading zeros in barcode field
I'm trying to configure a barcode form to add devices to Asset Control (in EPM 2017.3.3). My question is about how to strip leading zeros from a barcode. For example, our asset tags have 8 digits, and start with zeros. So, when I scan that barcode, I want to change it from '00012345' to '12345'.
Do I have to build a rule, and run that against the device after it is added to inventory, or can it be done on the fly in the barcode form field properties?
Also, can I take the value from one field, and use that in another attribute? For example, if I'm entering a new monitor and the asset tag is '12345', how can I auto-populate the Device Name as 'Mon-12345'?

Stop agent from being installed
I am installing Ivanti Endpoint Manager 2018 on a server and do not want the agent from my current 2016 core to be installed on it. I am going to uninstall the agent but my question is how do I make sure it doesn't get installed on that particular server in the future?

Is there a way for me to use Ivanti Endpoint Manager 2018.3 to push out and run a SH script on Red Hat Linux?
I'm trying to set up a distribution package and schedule task to run a sh script to kickoff a yum update.

options grayed out
Hello everyone ,
I just installed the landesk agent on a windows 7 embedded wyse , and it is not manageable from the console .
the "stop / restart" and " patch&compliance scan now " options are greyed out .
but locally from the machine I run the security analysis without any problem the machine communicates well with the landesk console and it downloads the patches!
